The 2015 CRC Prize giving took place on Saturday 7th November at the Ardshiel Hotel with large turnout of junior and senior members family and friends attending the event.

Well done to all prize winners, especially Sandy McLean for winning the overall race series and Emma Morran for being the leading female.  Well deserved from both runners and incredible to think Sandy joined in January and Emma just had a baby in the same month! :-)

CRC would also like to thank Rab McDonald, Donald Campbell, Elaine McGeachy and Catherine McLean for assisting with the presentation on the evening.  Also thanks to the CRC committee for all their help in organising the event and for everything else they do throughout the year to ensure the club continues to get stronger.

We would also like to show our appreciation to the race Series time keepers Suzy Ferguson, Marjorie Leighton, Alison McGeachy, Janette Hannah, Valerie MacKay, Catherine McLean and Christine Wylie who have braved some horrendous conditions (midges, wind, rain!) to ensure the races go like clockwork.

Finally, big thumbs up to my partners in crime, Rab and Neily, for helping planning the events, assist with the handicapping times and marking the routes for the races.  We're already looking planning for next year and may even have a one off winter event to keep us ticking over (if we can be bothered and get our fingers oot!).
