The 2019 Scottish National XC championships was held on Saturday 23rd February 2019 at Callendar Park, Falkirk. There were record breaking numbers competing in all events as shows the growing popularity of this event. Weather conditions were ideal for the majority of races with sunshine and little wind making for fast times. The sunshine dulled during the male senior race, but this would only affect the spectators rather than the runners competing.

CRC entered a 6 man male team with Ewan Smith, iain Mckinnon, Garry Muir, James Murdoch, Stuart McGeachy and Ruaridh MacGregor representing the club. Unfortunately Garry was unable to make it, which meant CRC couldn't register a team placing as require 6 members to register a place.

Well done to all the guys for making the journey and putting in some good times. Below are the times and positions:

Stuart McGeachy - 38:24 (71st)

Ewan Smith - 45:44 (339th)

James Murdoch - 46:13 (366th)

Ruaridh MacGregor - 46:17 (369th)

Iain McKinnon - 49:46 (520th)
