There was another healthy contingent of CRC members making the short journey up to Mid Argyll for the Crinan Puffer race. There were 142 runners competing in this flat, 8.1 mile route beside the Crinan canal. Conditions were ideal with a bit of sunshine and slight tail wind assisting runners from Crinan to Ardishaig.
Once again there were some great times and a few podium finishes for the club members.
Well done to Daniel Shieldrick who finished first in 48:45, holding off second place Colin Reilly in 48:55. It was a great battle throughout the race between the two runners and Daniel produced a strong finish to pick up first place.

Well done to all finishers and also all CRC members who competed. There were a number of great times and PB's on the course this year, which highlights the improvements in a number of a runners.
