Donald Campbell has sent a mail to advise that the East Dunbartonshire School and Junior Cross Country Invitational takes place on Saturday 18th January. Cameron, Gregor and Ruaridh Campbell will be participating and it will be a good experience into cross country running against club runners from other areas in Scotland.
This event is the 2nd of 3 races and forms part of the East Dunbartonshire Schools & Junior Invitation Cross Country League 2013/2014. This league, now in its 25th year, is organised by the Kirkintilloch Olympians. Entry is open to all runners from P5 up to S6.
WHERE: - The first race starts at 9.30 a.m., registration opens at 8.30 a.m. The race route is near Ellisland, Harestanes Primary will be open for parking, changing and toilets.
Medals are awarded to the first 3 runners and the first 3 teams in each race.
All runners will receive a certificate of merit for completing the race.
