Gigha Challenge 2015

The Gigha challenge took place on Saturday 2nd May with a number of CRC members making the short journey on the ferry across to the island. Weather was dry with a strong easterly wind made conditions pretty tough but also gave the runners a push on the homeward stretch.

Men's 11.2 mile race

1st: Tommy Morran

2nd: Alan Reid

3rd: Douglas Ferguson

Women's 11.2 mile race

1st: Katie Ferguson

2nd: Moira Mclellan

3rd: Lorraine MacDonald

5k race

1st : Cameron Campbell

2nd : Gregor Campbell

3rd : Euan Charlwood

Well done to all CRC members who picked up prizes. As always, great feed of cakes & tablet for afters.
