Slog in the Sand 10K 2014 - Results

The 2014 Slog in the Sand 10k took place on Saturday 27th December at Westport beach. The conditions were ideal this year with firm sand underfoot, no rain and the odd glimpse of sunshine breaking through the clouds. The wind was strong after the halfway mark turning point, however it wouldn't feel like 'Slog' without a little bit of resistance training!

The Senior race was a 10K route across Westport Beach turning before the burn at Machrihanish. The Junior race was a 2mile route on the beach which started 30 mins before the 10k started.
